We take our pets with us when we visit the Smokies but finding what we are looking for these days is difficult. We have 2 very small Yorkies that we would not even think about leaving at home, and a lab, all who are better behaved than most people's children. I am sure that the privilege of allowing pets in properties has been abused by a lot of people, but we are middle-aged and responsible and love our dogs and want them with us. (Good gosh, if we were bringing KUJO, certainly anyone with any sense would know that wouldn't be an enjoyable time). We like to stay "in town" or fairly close to the parkway as my husband enjoys riding his bike in Pigeon Forge. We also would prefer a cabin to a motel as we enjoy grilling out at night especially. Any suggestions from anyone?
