You may not have heard, but Santa Claus is coming to Gatlinburg!
Monday through Wednesday, March 16, 17 & 18, 2009 will be the largest gathering of Santas, Mrs. Clauses, Elves, Reindeer Owners and Christmas folk to ever assemble under one roof, let alone in one town!
The Celebrate Santa Convention will be at the W. L. Mills Auditorium and convention center.
And what would a Santa Convention be without a parade! Tuesday, March 17, 2009 is St. Patrick's Day, and what better way to celebrate than with a PARADE and a PARTY! A complete all out parade called the HOLLY & SHAMROCK PARADE followed by a semi-formal evening dinner and dance - the HOLLY & SHAMROCK GALA will take place. Thousands are expected to gather along the three quarter mile parade route!
I hope you will be among them! There will be hundreds of Santas in town, including the "Big Man" himself. See if you can spot him!
