Our Family Has Two Ways To Look At It. If You Are A Family Looking For A Convenient Place To Stay, Something Really Centrally Located Then Willowbrook Lodge Is The Place To Stay! They Have Excellent Rooms, Great Prices, So Centrally Located, Superb Breakfast And I Recommend Them To Everyone I Know. The Staff Is Very Sweet And Courteous, The Place Is Clean, And They Are Kid Friendly. They Have Indoor And Outdoor Pools And Hot Tubs, And They Have A Very Nice Water Slide In The Outdoor Pool As Well :d. We Have Been Staying With Willowbrook Lodge For So Long That We Are On A First Name Basis With Donna And A Few Of The Other Crew Members. This Is The Best Place To Stay If You Are There To Do Lots Of Things And Be In And Out Of Your Room Alot. On The Other Hand If You Are Planning On A Nice Relaxing Trip And You Are Going To Spend Lots Of Time Inside Your Room Then The Cabins In The Mountains Are Wonderful. In The Thirteen Years I Have Been Visiting Tennessee I Veered Off Of Willowbrook Lodge One Time And It Was A Very Nice Experience. We Stayed In A Log Cabin In The Mountains And Had A Nice Cooked Breakfast Every Morning And Just Took Our Time Preparing For The Day And Called It A Day Early. But I Still Prefer The Busy Days At Willowbrook.

Our very favorite place to stay is Blue Mountain Mist Bed and Breakfast. It is a short drive back into the country from Dollywood. We have stayed several times and just love it. In the summer you can sit on the big front porch after a delicious breakfast. My most favorite time to go is at Christmas when everything is decorated for the holidays. One year we went and it started snowing just after we arrived. It was like being inside a snowglobe. They have a wonderful website you can check out and do a virtual tour. There are beautiful "theme" decorated rooms or cabins you can rent. It's just not a trip to Pigeon Forge without a visit there. I hope you will try it.
