Places to Stay

Hello
We will be visiting the area for a couple of days the first part of June and it will be on a Monday and Tuesday. Trying to find decent places to stay without paying a lot, but need good mattress as we are seniors. Will go to shows in Pigeon Forge, so probably need to stay there as we do not like to drive at night. The prices I see seem reasonable much more so than other places that I have stayed. Thanks to all who respond.

My family and I have visited Pigeon Forge many times and have been very happy with the accomadations and prices at Valley Forge on the Parkway- it is a family owned business and they have always treated us well -- as a matter of fact, several of us will be there in June for 6 days ....

I have to echo that Valley Forge is a nice place with a great family running it. It's located practically in the middle of Pigeon Forge with easy access to the malls, restaurants, and attractions. You could even leave your car parked during your entire stay and simply ride the trolley.

One of the family members even does a Sunday sermon just after lunch in the meeting room...it's a rare, locally-owned hotel in Pigeon Forge and it's one of the few places that are run mostly by local people. In a town where it's getting harder to find the "true" southern hospitality, this is one place you'll most likely find it.
