If you can afford it make sure that you rent a chalet for your stay in and around Gatlinburg. We have stayed at many motels in the city but when we rented a chalet it cannot compare to a motel. The scenery was breathtaking and the chalet was to die for. We had seven family members and they all agreed that we should make this a family tradition of booking a chalet and getting away every year.
