Bennetts' BarBQ has great food! The Great American Buffet is good if you have a family and they like different things. THere is a great deal of different foods on the buffet.
Country Legends Grille has good food They advertise that the waitors sing there but its like 1 song every 20 minutes and some of it was quite bad. The entertainment could have been much better.
If you go to Dollywood They have a nice sit down resturant that you can get out the heat or the rain as was our experience. The prices are about the same as the other food courts and the food and service was very good. They had a special and we got a steak and baked potato for $6.99

We just returned from a trip to the Smoky Mountains and had a wonderful time.
The 2 best meals we had were at the Dixie Stampede (http://www.insidepigeonforge.com/entertainment/dinner-shows/dixie-stampede-dinner-and-show/) and American Buffet.
At Dixie Stampede the show alone is worth going but the food is so delicious as well!:p
Our third night in Pigeon Forge we ate at the American Buffet. The food was excellent. Steak on the buffet was as good or better than most steakhouses. I was very impressed.
They have such a large menu that even your pickiest eater will leave happy.
I was also very pleased with the nice waiters and waitresses at both locations. You could not ask for any better.
If you are planning a trip, I would highly recommend enjoying one or both during your stay.
I can't wait to go again!

Bennets barbeque is the best as far as barbeque goes! Can't go wrong there. Pancake house for breakfast since my coffee cup was never empty.

The Apple Wood complex is one of the best in the smokies. I have never gotten a bad meal there. The service and atmosphere is as good as the food.
The apple pies and ice cream are very tasty as well. Especially on a cold afternoon.
