Winterfest in Pigeon Forge is lit by millions of Christmas lights. From the lights that the city supplies along the roadways and in Patriot Park to the lights that the businesses decorate their exteriors with, the Christmas lights will make put you right in the Christmas spirit.
Pigeon Forge’s official Winterfest kickoff
went off with bang Tuesday starting with the Salute to Veterans Parade
, in honor of the men and women who served our nation through their military service. The parade began at the south end of town and made its way north on the Parkway to Patriot Park. Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner, Many-Bears Grinder, delivered the keynote address.
The Pigeon Forge Community Chorus and James Rogers gave a spectacular patriotic performance before lighting Pigeon Forge’s Winterfest displays. Winterfest continues through February 26th with events including the Trolley Tour of Lights, Wilderness Wildlife Week and Saddle Up.
The Smoky Mountains have been in full peak for fall foliage
the past two weeks and we were able to spot some great color in the area. We hope you enjoy all that Pigeon Forge
has to offer including the spectacular Fall color season
, which just so happens to be our favorite here at Inside Pigeon Forge.
