2009 Pigeon Forge Car Show Schedule
Pigeon Forge, TN seems to be the place to have major car shows each year with the biggest arguably being the Spring Grand Rod Run, Shades of the Past,and the Fall Grand Rod Run. Hotel owners froth at the mouth for these Pigeon Forge car shows, and the locals stock up on ear plugs & food supplies as we listen to engines rev for about 72 hours straight and are locked up at home while all of the roads are congested. There’s not much complaining though as you guys bring in tons of revenue and keep our property taxes low! So here’s the Pigeon Forge car show schedule for 2009 complete with contact information and official websites for each event.

Please let me know when the 2008 Car Show schedule is set. We want to avoid it next year. Not that the cars weren’t fabulous, but the traffic was terrible! And we were there for other reasons.

why is there no mustang shows this year.
Regarding the mustang show, all Southern Nationals Association car shows have been canceled for 2008.
is there not going to be any car shows in aug 2008?
Why are all of the car shows scheduled for the Music Road Hotel being cancelled, and are they being re-scheduled somewhere else?

Please note that the dates are subject to change at anytime, so please contact the official people associated with each event. You can find a phone number or website address under each event above. If you all know of other car shows in Pigeon Forge that have been left off, please let us know!
Lisa- we always go for the car show… but really, its for the boys. The girls go shopping and do other things. ;) Nonetheless, there IS traffic… but actually- there are many backroads (that aren’t rural, believe it or not!) and we’ve found our way around Pigeon Forge despite the traffic. It’s wonderful. If you find yourself there during that “time of year”- be sure to check a map, and stay off the Parkway! It’s not as hard as might sound. Good Luck!
My wife and I attended the 2008
fall Grand Rod Run. My wife had
really not been before.She wasn’t
really much for it at first (I
have always been for it myself).
We walked and walked looking at
as many rods as we could. When
we were finished my wife had
loved it and in 2009 I believe
she will be as excited about going
as me. Also, I would like to attend
the F-100 run but don’t know much
about it. We love Pigeon Forge,
Tenn.
