Rich with Southern hospitality and the goal of preserving the authentic way of Smoky Mountain life, Old Mill Square is a shopping and dining experience that you won’t forget. The square’s focus is the 1830s mill that still grinds every day with a giant, water-powered wheel. During your visit you can try one or both of the square’s two eateries – the Old Mill Restaurant or the Old Mill Pottery House Café & Grille. Both dining spots offer Southern delicacies that are sure to please. You can also shop through several artisan stores where you’ll find everything from hand-pulled taffy and pantry items to hand-sculpted pottery and house wares.

One of the funniest attractions in Pigeon Forge, the Comedy Barn is not to be missed. With shows featuring performing pooches, jugglers, ventriloquists, and live country and gospel music, it’s no surprise that The Comedy Barn Theater is awarded the title of “Funniest Show” in the Smoky Mountains year after year! We guarantee you and your family – yes, it’s kid friendly, too! – will enjoy a night of at least a thousand laughs. The Comedy Barn even has shows featuring pigs, parrots, house cats, dogs and a mini-donkey performing together in the Comedy Critter show. And if you visit during the holidays, be sure to stop in and see the Christmas rendition of the comedy show, complete with Christmas music, costumes and hilarious Christmas-themed acts.

  1. Lumberjack Feud attraction in Pigeon Forge Lumberjack Feud

In a recreation of 1934 Smoky Mountain history, enjoy a delectable dinner as two logging families battle for the last remaining timber in what we know today as the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy Lumberjack Feud’s rugged Lumberjacks and High Flying Timber Dogs compete to prove which family will stay and which will be banished from the Smokies forever.

Be sure to arrive 30-45 minutes early to enjoy the hilarious and exciting Mountain Jacks pre-show. This bluegrass band will have you on your feet clapping and your sides aching with laughter.
